Knowing what doesn’t work for you is just as important as knowing what does

img_3720.jpgHey Afro Frenzies! This week like any other week I had a wash day. I cowashed my hair as usual. Now here’s the thing the praying hand method does not work for me.I mean seriously if I use the praying hand method I better pray I have enough hair products to start over.

I was in a rush and I was thinking oh let’s just get this over with. But, the truth is I know that doesn’t work for me. So, in light of this renewed revelation I made my sections and smoothed the products in until my curls began to spring into action.

This is just a story of what I know doesn’t work for me. But there is a bigger lesson. If you know what doesn’t work you can use that information to seek out hair care practices that are unique to your needs.

It sucks when a hairstyle doesn’t come out exactly right. It sucks even more when you just knew that it would or, it worked out so well on that Youtuber you watched . Now here your are standing in the mirror with 15 minutes to spare and no way out of a bad hair day.

Although each scenario sucks they can serve a purpose. You now know what doesn’t work. Working things out from process of elimination can come in handy. You won’t know unless you try. Remember, be happy, be curly, be you, and you will never fail!
