Whipped shea butter 2.0

Hey, Afro Frenzies how the heck are you. So, let me tell you something. Early in the cold and flu season ya girls health took a turn for the worse.I knew I had the monkey when I woke up wandering if someone else was sweating on me. Turns out it was me. Long story short I was not interested in doing any hair or making any DIY’s.

Good thing bae came to the rescue. Due to me having the flu I didn’t want to touch the pots and pans in the kitchen. So I had to enlist some help. Thankfully he was willing to lend a helping hand.

As you know I have been dabbling with making whipped shea butter for a little bit now. This time I did things a tad differently. Under my supervision I had bae melt the shea butter as usual. I added in two large table spoons of shea butter. Once melted I added in the same amount of coconut oil.

Coconut oil and shea butter are always my foundation to any of my shea butter concoction. After mixing the shea butter and coconut oil I added in a drop of vitamin e a couple of drops of Jamaican black castor oil lavender essential oil and last but not least a cap of almond oil.

I left it in the fridge until I got my desired texture (which for me is creamy finish). I must say that I am currently enjoying my whipped shea. The Lavender essential oil really gave it a nice light scent.

Let me know your go to recipe for the perfect whipped butter. I’m really digging the lavender oil as a light scent and what also love to hear how you guys give your butters a little extra smell good. Remember, be happy, be curly, be you, and you will never fail.
