Wassup yall! This has really been Tracee’s time. She is the executive producer of Mixed-ish along with her on going roles on Grown-ish and Black-ish, but Girlfriend dropped a whole hair care line.

Her hair line is called pattern. Ross took to tv shows and Instagram to showcase her new hair line. She promoted her line on various platforms and mediums but what really got my attention was how long it was in the making.

She openly shared that the line was 10 years in the making. She wrote her first brand pitch in 2008. I love that she embraced the journey not just the accomplished goal. So often we won’t celebrate until we reach our goal.

I know for myself I can be so fixated on reaching my goals I can’t enjoy the journey. The journey is just as important as the destination. We can all take a page from Ross’s book and enjoy the adventure of getting there. Remember, be happy, be curly, be you, and you will never fail!
