SheaMoisture’s Jamaican Black Castor Oil Bentonite Clay shampoo Bar Review

I wasn’t sure what to expect. I have never used a shampoo bar and I haven’t really explored a lot of Shea moistures shampoos. I was excited none the less to try something new. I mean and it had Jamaican black castor oil which I love so that already had me excited.

The lather was really good. I use castor oil in my hair often so I was expecting some moisture and the shampoo was moisturizing. The packaging says it lifts away impurities and when I was rinsing my hair out I could definitely feel the build up in my hair being removed.

I immediately noticed how light my hair was after I shampooed. It was crazy girl. I was so excited even after adding my spray bottle and Shea butter my hair was still practically weightless.

I often look for shampoos and conditioners that are hydrating. I shy away from cleansers that go for a deeper clean. But even if you enjoy hydrating products it’s good to use products that remove build up every once in a while. You may (as I did) uncover light and bouncy curls that were waiting just beneath the surface. Remember, be happy, be curly, be you and you will never fail!
