Shrinkage often gets a bad rap. Its pretty obvious why I mean come on you finally have your hair to your desired length or close to and you step in the shower and nobody can tell. A lot of people are natural now for the specific purpose of having strong healthy hair.  Continue reading

I stole bae’s conditioner and I don’t regret it

My last wash day was quiet the adventure. A squirrel got into the house. Just as I was finishing up I came face to face with a tree rat. To say that I was freaked out was an understatement. I ran out of the house before I even got a chance for my hair to dry. Continue reading

When wash day rolls around we pull out all of our hair products. We pull out our products for cleansing, conditioning, and styling. All of that is fine and dandy but what if I told you it could be easier.

However, due to going on water rides I had to account for the exposure to chlorine so, I did what most curly girls would do begin to prep for wash day. When I couldn’t find my comb I thought hmm maybe I’ll finger-detangle. But, when it came down to it I just wasn’t as patient as I would like to have been.

No bangs No problem

Hey everyone lets talk hair! More specifically let’s talk bangs. So, I myself don’t have bangs well not in a traditional sense. I have different lengths in my hair, but that’s not by choice (whole other story lol). However, I had two interviews yesterday (pray a sista get a job) and I wanted to do something to my hair out of the ordinary. The idea came to me when I was talking to another Afro frenzier! We were talking and you know how that goes the ideas began to flow. I have to admit that I have been really lazy lately but you know like I know when you have an interview you have to put it on for them even if you’re not in the mood.
