When wash day rolls around we pull out all of our hair products. We pull out our products for cleansing, conditioning, and styling. All of that is fine and dandy but what if I told you it could be easier.
Here’s the truth wash day will always be wash day. However, if you choose your products right you can shorten your steps. For instance take creme of nature’s cleansing conditioner the directions say to cleanse your hair as if you are using a shampoo then leave it in for it to do its magic. well my friend I think we just skipped our deep conditioner now didn’t we.
When I was growing up like most little girls my mom did my hair. When I got older I started taking more initiative. However, Although I was learning about my hair I had a major issue.
As a tween I hated getting my hair cut. I cringed at the thought of it. My mom and my sister tried to explain the benefits of trimming your hair ,and I just wasn’t going for it.I wanted long hair.I didn’t want to lose any length. Although it was explained to me that a trim was for the over health of my hair, I didn’t want scissors anywhere close to my head.
All curly girls know that it’s not only important to detangle but, what we use to detangle. Recently I went on a trip to Disney world. Some how in the mist of packing and unpacking I dun dun dun.. misplaced my wide tooth comb 😩.
Loosing my wide tooth comb was just the beginning of the horror story. The trip was amazing I went on great rides and had a blast. However, due to going on water rides I had to account for the exposure to chlorine so, I did what most curly girls would do begin to prep for wash day. When I couldn’t find my comb I thought hmm maybe I’ll finger-detangle. But, when it came down to it I just wasn’t as patient as I would like to have been.
Hey everyone lets talk hair! More specifically let’s talk bangs. So, I myself don’t have bangs well not in a traditional sense. I have different lengths in my hair, but that’s not by choice (whole other story lol). However, I had two interviews yesterday (pray a sista get a job) and I wanted to do something to my hair out of the ordinary. The idea came to me when I was talking to another Afro frenzier! We were talking and you know how that goes the ideas began to flow. I have to admit that I have been really lazy lately but you know like I know when you have an interview you have to put it on for them even if you’re not in the mood.
Hey guys been awhile since I have posted. I was online today and this video caught my attention. Please click and enjoy! Remember be happy, be curly, be you, and you will never fail.
Hello everyone I hope you all had a great hair week. Long time no speak I haven’t been doing my usual once a week posting. So today I’m going to be talking about transitioning styles that carry you from one hairstyle to the next. Now you all may have guessed already twist yes twist are the perfect transitioning style in between hairstyles. I mean what girl doesn’t love a good twist out, but what if you waited two weeks instead of five to six hours? Well it may seem like a long time to wait but that’s exactly what I did.
Hey guys hope you all are enjoying your week. Through out the winter season we tend to pay closer attention to our scalp. I know I do I make sure I add some sort of moisture to may hair such as coconut oil or Shea butter. Moisturizing your scalp is a must the air is much harsher but with all of the oils being added we have to be mindful of product build up.
Hey guys I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and had lovely hair days. Today’s tops are dealing with twist shrinkage. I’m not sure if you guys have this problem as well. Whenever I have just did my twist they are just beautiful to me I’m like ya know really loving my hair. It has the whole whip factor going on. It’s light and breezy I can whip it any which of way the length of my hair can be seen, but I noticed that the next day my twist were completely different then how they were from the day prior.

Vanessa VanDyke’s school at first did not offer a remark ,but now that it is later on in the week, they have said plenty. The school officials are saying that they are not asking her to cut, or put any product in her hair, but they are not accepting her hair as it is. They also retracted that Vanessa would be expelled. My question to you all is, is that enough? Continue reading
